Cardboard Box Breaks is a community of cardboard collectors all across the world who want to make the hobby more inclusive and fun for everyone. At CBB, we want everyone to have fun while watching/participating in high-end hockey breaks (The Cup/Clear Cut/Premier, etc.). To top it off, we pull monster hits for our #cardboardfam regularly like the 19-20 The Cup 1/1 McDavid Monumental. What also differentiates us from other Break Groups is we have partnered with other reputable companies in the hobby to provide more added-value to our community.

Founder & CEO
Meet Richard, a dynamic individual who wears many hats with equal finesse. By day, he is a Senior Bank Leader – by night, he transforms into Cardboard Richard, a sports card enthusiast, breaker and founder of ‘Cardboard Box Breaks’.
Cardboard Richard’s love for sports cards dates back to 2014 when he started collecting in anticipation of the release of McDavid’s Rookie Cards. This passion led him to establish ‘Cardboard Box Breaks’, where he shares his love of the hobby with fellow collectors.
In addition to CBB, Richard dabbles in the Web2 and Web3 space as he has business ventures there too. He leverages his skills and knowledge to bring innovative solutions to market and is always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow and expand his businesses.
Lead Breaker at Cardboard Box Breaks
Meet Jordans Cards, Cardboard Box Breaks’ main breaker. He is known for pulling the highly sought-after 1 of 1 McDavid Monumental from 19-20 The Cup, cementing his reputation as a skilled and lucky breaker.
Jordan fell in love with the hobby as a child and his first set was the 97-98 Pinnacle Press Plates. His passion for sports cards has only grown stronger over the years, he is looking forward to more exciting breaks and building new relationships with those in the hobby.
Aside from his love for the hobby, he is a dedicated firefighter for the Department of National Defense. He brings the same level of passion and commitment to his day job as he does for breaking.
